Nathan and Kat stuck in Crestline
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Liz and I’m fundraising to help my cousin Kat and her family. Kathy and her husband Nathan live in Crestline Ca. along with their children. As we all know, our local mountains have been hit with an immense amount of snow the last week. So much so that this has caused major problems for this family and for many other in the Crestline community. For example, the only grocery store in the community had its ceiling cave in due to the weight of the snow forcing them to shut down. Also, all roads leading into and coming out of Crestline and surrounding towns are closed. Only CalTrans and Emergency Vehicles are on the roads. There’s no way out and no way in for residents.
Kat and Nathan also had major damage done to their home. Their 2nd story patio collapsed while their two daughters where shoveling snow. Thankfully neither girl suffered major injuries and they walked away with small cuts and bruises. The entire family has been working hard trying to get the snow off the roof because they worry this might cave in as well. Not to mention they’ve been out helping surrounding neighbors clear pathways, doors, windows and roads.
Both Kat and Nathan are self employed and due to the circumstances they haven’t worked their typical week. If you feel led to help please do so. Any amount helps as this will go towards their daily expenses and to help rebuild what they have lost. If you can’t donate please help by sharing this.
Thank you.
