My love for the Filipino people is beyond words and my passion to share Jesus with them is even greater! By God's provision, I've been able to travel 22 different times to the beautiful country of the Philippines. As I've witnessed first hand the work of God while serving in the remote Aurora province, my life has been forever transformed. Teaching music, leading worship, preaching the Gospel, cultivating relationships with Filipinos... there is no end to the blessings that have come from this special place.
I'm preparing to take my next trip and God has done something extraordinary! I'll be making the trek to the Philippine Jungle with my daughter, Addy! Addy is 11 years old and in 6th grade. She spent one trip in this place and was instantly ready to return! Addy and I are thrilled for the opportunity for God to move in our hearts and for me to invest this time in her all while embarking on this very rich mission experience together.
We will partner with our dear missionary friends, Barry and Lilia Phillips, who serve full time in the Aurora Province. While there, we will be sharing the love of Jesus to local families, visiting schools, praying with church pastors and leaders, teaching music, and leading Worship Events. There is also room for Holy Spirit to move along the way and provide even more opportunities to be His hands and feet.
Our trip will take place October 21 - November 1, 2019. We need your prayers! We know without prayer this will not be a successful trip. Our estimated financial need is $5,000, which covers:
· Addy's airfare, travel, and lodging
· Expenses for Worship Events (promotion, rentals, venues)
· Transportation/Lodging for Worship Teams
· School supplies for teachers
· Sacks of rice (100 kilo for a family), groceries
· Personal care items and first aid for families
· Retreat for local pastors and church leaders
As God opens the gateway to board the plane, we know that He will supply all our needs! Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration and partnership with us. May God bless you in ways abundantly more than you could ever ask or think!
In His Service,
Nathan Potter
