Hi my name is Nathalie, I am 22 years old and live in Jordan. I have been living with a chronic, debilitating lung disease, called cystic fibrosis, since birth. I started traveling to the United States at the age of 2 in order to obtain the most advanced medical treatment for my condition.

Once I turned 19 years old, my insurance was cancelled because I was considered an adult.  My parents then had to struggle in order to afford my frequent travel expenses to and from New York and Jordan. In addition to travel expenses, my parents were burdened with my medical bills.

Unfortunantely, this past year I  had to be admitted to the hospital numerous times for complications due to my CF. Even though the care  in the US is extraordinary and necessary for my condition, it has become a huge finanical strain for my family.

Currently, I am in NY getting medical care. I travel back and forth between Jordan and New York for constant treatments. These travel expenses are causing financial stress for my family, which is why I am asking for help funding my travel expenses.

My family has always been very supportive with making sure I am receiving the best care, which I am so grateful for. It will mean the world to me to be able to help my family out with the expenses related to my medical condition.
