Nateli’s Fight

Noone ever prepares you for the worst. Noone ever prepares you for the phone call that you need to take your 15 year old daughter to the emergency room right away, the bloodwork drawn yesterday is abnormal. The last two weeks have been the worst of our lives,  and it's just the beginning. Emergency surgery and a biopsy showed stage 4 Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Lymphoma that has spread to her lungs, stomach, liver, and starting in her spleen. Within a week, we had pet scans, xrays, two more surgeries and started chemotherapy treatment. Our world has been turned upside down and we don't know what the future holds. I don't know that my baby will realize her dream of being an Aesthetician when she grows up. We were supposed to be planning her sweet 16. Now we're just praying she makes it to 16. As a mother, I need to be there for her, but I also need to support my family. I have never asked anyone for anything, but at a time like this, I realize we need a village. Any donations made are greatly appreciated and will go toward new and unexpected medical expenses as well as helping the family stay afloat with house bills and allowing us to spend time focusing on our daughter and nursing her back to health.
