It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Nate Maier, a beloved member of our Rim Scot's family and a 2022 graduate of Rim of the World High School.

Nate’s passing has left his family, friends, and our community heartbroken. During a time when his mother, sister, and brother-in-law should be able to focus on grieving, remembering Nate, and supporting one another, we hope to help ease some of the financial burdens that can come with such an unexpected loss.

As Nate’s Rim Scot's Family, we want the Maier family to know that they do not have to walk through this difficult time alone. We are coming together to help in the way we know how—by surrounding them with love, support, and community.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward helping Nate’s family with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as other unexpected financial needs they may face in the days and weeks ahead.

No family is ever prepared for a loss like this. If we can help lighten even one burden for Nate’s mother, sister, and brother-in-law, we hope it will allow them a little more space to simply be together and grieve.
