Update from Kari:
Nate and I were supposed to be on a date night at the Wild game right now. Instead we sit here looking at each other in bewilderment, we honestly cannot believe the outpouring of love and generosity and support we have been given and continue to get. We will forever be grateful for each and everyone one of you, and will be paying it forward as long as we live! I’m a giver by nature, but this just puts a whole new perspective on how much it really can be life changing. I can’t express how all of your love and support has gotten us through, and will continue to. It’s allowing me to be by his side, and take care of all his needs at home now.
Nate was so down in the hospital and just wanted to be home with us. His vitals were all stable yesterday, so they agreed I could be the one to administer his IV’s and meds at home so he could be more comfortable. 20 days left, 3 times a day and then we will go back and see if the medication did it’s job This brain infection is no joke, essentially its trying to eat his brain and causes some pretty awful seizures. Thankfully he has not had a seizure since we started the medication
We need all the prayers we can get, so keep them coming!
I’m sorry to all my clients, I promise to get back to you as soon as I can!

Original Post:
On Monday Feb 5th Nate was found unconscious in the bathroom at work. He was transported by ambulance to HCMC downtown Minneapolis where he is currently in the ICU. After several days of scans and testing we now know for sure he has a serious brain infection which will have a long road of recovery.
The McGhee Family is like family to all of us and we hope we can bring a little love back to them. All donations will go directly to the McGhee Family bank account so it can be used immediately towards the unexpected burden of medical expenses, travel costs to and from the hospital, food & loss of wages during this difficult time.
Please consider donating. ❤️
If you aren't able to donate at this time, please pass this along to other people in our community. We thank everyone for the support!
Please keep Nate’s Family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate his fight & recovery.
Thank you!
