"Hello, everyone,
As you’ve seen over the previous weeks, a few of us have taken on the task of organizing a San Diego gathering to coincide with the ten-year anniversary of Nate Henn’s passing. The primary use of this fund will be to help with the financial travel burden for the international attendees who were close with Nate (former teammates, etc.). The secondary use will be to help those domestically who need financial assistance to attend.
We are hoping and anticipating by the weekend of July 11 that we will be able to travel and gather in Southern California, but it is possible that we might not and that we may have to postpone. If this occurs, the funds will be held for the rescheduled dates. If international plane tickets are purchased before we have clarity around the issue, and we do have to postpone, this will most likely mean the airline tickets will turn to travel credits. This is all to say, please donate to this fund only if you are okay with there not being a potential refund—too much is uncertain at this time for us to confidently say donations can be returned.
