Nate Evans Remembrance Tree Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Felecia Hayes. I am from Chesapeake, Virginia and currently residing in Williamsburg, Virginia. This fundraiser is to raise money for a memorial on the campus of William & Mary honoring former William & Mary student-athlete, Nathan Evans. Nate was a classmate of mine, friend to many, and a symbol of love, light, and inclusion on our William & Mary campus. Since his tragic passing on March 21, 2019, his presence and bright spirit has been longed for by so many. With this fundraiser, we hope to honor Nate in this small and meaningful way. 

$5,000 of the donated funds will be used toward a tree and bench being placed on campus in his remembrance. This will be done through the Living Remembrance Tree and Bench Policy at William & Mary and requires raising $1,250 for a tree and $3,750 for a bench. A check will be written once all tree and bench arrangements have been finalized. Any additional money raised over $5,000 will be donated to The Nate Evans Love and Light Foundation, so don’t stop donating and sharing!!
