NATASHA&BENTLEY, TUBBS FIRE VICTIMS

Sunday/Monday morning was one of the craziest nights of my life. I went from doing homework to coming home and evacuating our house on a bike with Bentley (dog/child) in a duffle bag around my neck.

I lived in Santa Rosa in Coffey Park with a teammate (in picture) and her wonderful family--we, like many, lost everything. Traffic was gridlocked in our neighborhood so I ditched my car and packed bags for a bike only taking the things most meaningful to me. That was obviously Bentley and an award I won last year on the women's soccer team at Santa Rosa Junior College that I currently play for. This situation is surreal and completely unexpected. I kept thinking I could get my life back to normal alone because asking for help isn't easy but without the proper insurance that is seemingly difficult. Finding a place to live with a bigger dog isn't cheap but that's the top priority next to new underwear and soccer cleats. Literally, anything will help at this point. Love you all and a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far, I am truly blessed.
