Natasha, Jacob and Sofia Rodriguez

We are trying to help raise money to help with the medical expenses for Jacob and Natasha Rodriguez. 

This week the grandkids were visiting my parents for Nana and Papa camp.  Gio was the first one to try out the go kart. After a couple drives, he was ready for a passenger. Sofia and Gio hit the gas and were going too fast to make the turn and hit a tree. They hit hard and both kids were taken to the hospital in East Texas while Natasha and Jacob just got back to Austin after they dropped off their kids. The Drs released Gio with minor bruising but an X ray showed that Sofia has torn her kidney. They care flighted Sofia two hours west to Children’s in Dallas. The doctors have been great and are trying everything to save her kidney.  They performed a surgery on Monday to stop the bleeding, but it is still too early too tell. She also has bruised her lung,and has a lacerated liver and pancreas. 

As of right now they will be in the hospital for the rest of the week. They don’t know what the outcome will be, but we know it will be expensive.
 Any help would be appreciated.
