Natasha Geddie Rinehart and Family Fund

Hello, my name is Reina Geddie and am sorry to inform everyone that my mother, Natasha lost her battle with esophogeal cancer and passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

The loss has been of course very hardhitting emotionally, but financially as well. Natasha was the primary breadwinner and now there are many bills, everything from funeral expenses, medical bills, and household bills that the family could use help with.

Every little bit counts right now, and thank you in advance.

OBITUARY
Natasha Jacqueline Geddie-Rinehart, nee Luisa Ignacia Natasha Parker devoted wife, sister, aunt and mother, of Dallas, Texas passed from this realm on February 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Natasha, known affectionately as "Tasha" to many was born June 9, 1963 in Dallas, TX to Geraldine Laverne Kilgore and Edward William Golubin. She grew up in various foster households before being adopted by Mary Louise Freeman Parker with whom she stayed until her teens with she was welcomed into the Winters household where she stayed until her marriage to Gary Dean Geddie in December, 1982. To this union two beautiful daughters, Reina and Kimberly were born. Natasha cherished her role as a mother and retained a youthful outlook which endeared her to many friends and family.

Natasha had wide-ranging interests but her passion was her music. Under the tutelage of the legendary Al Trick, she quickly mastered the piano accordion. Beginning her professional music career as a busker at Six Flags Over Texas; she perfected her talents performing in many events over the years including Addison Oktoberfest, She was also invited to perform on a goodwill musician's tour of the former USSR. She even performed in the film "True Stories" as part of a parade scene. The soundtrack album to this film features a picture of her marching with the accordion in that scene on the back cover. Natasha eventually turned her love of her instrument into teaching, mostly young children, to play the instrument.

She began studying at Southeastern Paralegal Institute in 1989 and soon after began her legal career at a number of prestigious legal firms in the Dallas area with her final stop being the firm of West and Associates in Dallas. One high point of this career was she whistleblower status in 1992 regarding her work for a well-known client with some questionable business dealings. Most recently she attained licensure by the National Legal Board of Specialization as a Civil Trial Senior Litigation Paralegal. Few of the Dallas area candidates passed this exam and Natasha was immensely proud of her achievement

Also along the way, she offered free legal advice to many friends and family.

Those who knew Natasha recognized that she was a champion for the marginalized and overlooked in society. If there was a cause that needed some force behind it, she was there. This lead to helping many individuals feel that she rescued them over the years, and a reputation as a patron saint of the downtrodden. In recent years she gave voice to this activism becoming a popular figure on Twitter and other social media.

Natasha met the love of her life Mark Rinehart in 2010 and they were united in marriage February 21, 2016 recently celebrating their 7th anniversary. Natasha and Mark adored each other.
