Natasha and Brailee’s fight to beat brain tumors

Donation protected
It’s no secret that life is unpredictable and capable of throwing some brutal curveballs. For Natasha Thrash’s family, the double curveball that shattered their world late last year is almost too horrendous to believe. Natasha’s 10 year-old daughter, Brailee, was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the beginning of last year. Mere months later, Natasha was diagnosed with a brain tumor of her own. Brailee has an inoperable brain tumor called a Pilocytic Astrocytoma. This was found on January 16, 2023 after searching for answers for several years as to why she was having symptoms. She started chemotherapy through her port in February 2023.

Natasha had a seizure August 2023. She was having symptoms that she thought were stress related due to Brailee’s chemo so she ignored them. That’s when they found that Natasha had a large brain tumor. Natasha’s tumor is so rare, a record of anyone else having this type of tumor has never been recorded. Natasha has already endured one craniotomy and completed weeks of chemo and radiation treatments.

Natasha recently had an MRI that showed there are new areas not seen before which means the cancer is likely spreading and possibly very aggressive. She is back on oral chemo and an optune cap that has to be worn 18 hours a day.

Brailee recently had an MRI as well where the results were not what we wanted and her mass has yet again grown.

As they both continue to fight brain tumors, I want to show them as much support and love that we can!
Anything helps and is greatly appreciated
