Natan's Medical College Fund

Hi to all of you wonderful people who have helped get Natan into his 5th year of medical school! This is Tecie Montgomery. Natan and I are setting up the last fund raiser that will get him through his last year of medical school. Please read Natan’s story below in his own words. 5th year of medical school. I might become a doctor yet.I was born in an old beat down house, no doctors; raised by a single mother with very little means. I worked my way through high school, working during the day at the local hospital on Roatan and going to school at night, and now thanks to you I am incredibly close to becoming a doctor in the country that has been host to the murder capital of the world. No this is not a rags to riches story. This is about the incredible difference that a few good people can make.Because of your incredible kindness, I am in my fifth year of med school. Keep in mind that in this country there is basically no student aid, no student loan program, which is largely why people like me don´t become doctors. Kids with my background; Oh the stories I could tell. But your generosity and support has made the impossible a possibility, and I just want to say thank you.Thank you so much for caring and believing, as I do, that we can make a difference.I am so close to the end, so close to being the change we want to see in the world but I am at the hardest part. I am working very hard to make sure I Ace my classes and make you all proud of what I do not only in med school but also after med school.For over four years, I have been one of the top students at the faculty of medicine, always at the top of my class. One of the only students who does not come from wealth but who has a heart for service and is willing to learn and work hard to one day help others and make a difference in this world. Because you have helped make this possible for me.Today I am asking you, begging you. Please help me do it again. I cannot do this without your help. I can make a huge difference I know I can, and I believe you will be surprised at the ripple effect of what you can do. I am working as hard as I can to make sure I pass all my classes but to figure out a way forward. I have started tutoring other students and that has helped some but I need your help.
