Everyone who knows Natalie will be saddened by this news, but I wanted to give a full update of what is going on. After the past few weeks of ruling out other possible diagnoses, Natalie has been officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Malignant Perivascular Epithelioid Cell Neoplasm (PEComa). This is an incredibly rare cancer and she is only the 17th person to be diagnosed with it. At this time there is no cure, but there is still hope that treatment up at Huntsman with radiation and ongoing weekly treatments we can be optimistic and keep her in good spirits as well.
Natalie has a long road ahead of her and we all know how horrible medical costs are these days. She’s always been there for her family and friends – no questions asked, which is a rare trait these days. She’s raised 2 amazing daughters on her own as well. Not only does Nat need our moral support, but in order to continue fighting she needs our ongoing financial support as well to decrease the burden of ongoing costs of treatment. She needs this assistance now more than ever!
Any money raised here will be spent to help with expenses related to her treatment and keeping her home and bills paid when she cannot work.
