Natalie’s 4th Battle with Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Natalie has been fighting cancer since she was 3.5 years old.
She was diagnosed in November 2020 with a highly aggressive brain tumor known as Anaplastic Ependymoma.
Despite multiple surgeries, repeat rounds of radiation treatment, chemotherapies, and other treatments throughout the years, Natalie's cancer continues to return again and again.
Natalie recently experienced a loss of motor function in her right arm/hand that prompted doctors to order a rapid MRI that showed further disease progression.
Natalie is now facing her 4th brain surgery in just over 4 years.
While we hope that Natalie will have many years of stability, we know that there is no cure currently, and everything we do is just to buy us as much time as possible.
The money raised from this GoFundMe will help the Ferguson family stay together during Natalie's travel to Boston Children's Hospital for her upcoming surgery, as well as cover any out-of-pocket medical expenses, PT/OT that Natalie will need for recovery, supplements and alternative treatments that are not covered by insurance, additional travel if needed, as well as help buffer any wages lost from time taken off work to care for her.
We also want Natalie's time to be filled with as much joy and happiness and give her experiences and precious memories with her family for as long as she is able to.
Seeing just how relentlessly Natalie's cancer has continued to return means time together is even more precious. We want nothing more than a chance for our precious girl to grow up.
We have managed to stay afloat these past 4 years from the incredible generosity of the community who love Natalie and have been touched by her story. Many of you have continued to help us without ever having met her at all!
Natalie radiates positivity and love despite all that she has been through. Her silliness and joy are infectious to everyone around her, and she has a soul so pure and full of love for life it is incredible to see. A smile rarely leaves Natalie's face, which makes it even more heartbreaking to have to see all that she has had to endure in her short life.
Natalie deserves the world, and we are so grateful to all those who have helped us in any way to be able to keep our girl smiling and shining bright.
Our eternal love and gratitude,
Sarah, Patrick, Natalie, and Margot.
