Natalie's Not Letting Cancer Stop Her
Donation protected
Natalie Hill has medulloblastoma. Medulloblastoma. Not a word that the average teenager is familiar with. High school kids should be worried about grades, classes, sports, friends, etc. Not chemo, radiation, and rehab. Natalie Hill is a high school junior who just a few weeks ago was worried about running Cross Country and surviving virtual and in-person classes. Now she is worried about surviving medulloblastoma. She is facing radiation for 6 weeks and chemotherapy for 6-9 months. She has already had surgery to remove 90% of the tumor that was located in her brain.
Natalie is currently at John's Hopkins in Baltimore. She will be moved to Sibley Hospital in DC for radiation and will return to Hopkins to finish her chemo. Because chemo and radiation often affect a woman's ability to have children, Natalie will undergo Fertility Preservation in an attempt to harvest some of her eggs for the future. This is an expensive procedure added on to the already expensive costs of fighting medulloblastoma.
This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of not only Natalie's medical bills but of the every day expenses that her parents will accrue travelling to see her everyday. Only one parent can visit at a time so Bruce (Dad) has been travelling back and forth every day and Tammy (Mom) has been staying with Natalie. Gas and food and time off from work are going to be extremely expensive for the Hill family.
Please consider making a donation. Any amount helps. And, please keep Natalie and her parents in your prayers.
Thank you so much.
