Hello,
My Name is Larry Chastine and I am a friend of Eric Ruiz who is a small business owner that I met about three years ago. He and I have collaborated on several projects and our families have become close friends.
Eric’s one and only 19 year old daughter, Natalie, is in her first year at Cerritos College. She also helps her father in his fabricating business during her time off from school. Last Monday, May 16, 2022, Natalie had a catastrophic, life altering accident.
While working at her dad’s shop, her left hand got caught in a grinding machine which resulted in Natalie losing part of three of her fingers. In her panic, she tried to free her left hand with her right hand and she lost part of her middle finger on her right hand as well, which pulled her right arm and shoulder into the grinder too.
After calling 9-1-1, she was transported to the hospital, has had three surgeries to date and more surgeries will follow. She has been handling this life altering event bravely but faces a long, uphill battle.
Natalie’s parents are hard working and humble people who wanted to give their daughter the best. As a good daughter, she worked to help her parents in their shop. But they do no have insurance to cover these medical expenses.
So, it is with great compassion that we are asking for support to see our friends and Natalie through this tough season of medical expenses that are quickly accruing. Please keep Natalie and her parents in your prayers.
We truly appreciate your sincere kindness in advance. May God richly bless you in return for your generosity and support.
Larry Chastine
