We just want to start by saying thank you for taking a few moments of your time to read this and to hear our story.
It all starts on May 1st when I told my Partner we would be expecting our first child. As any first time parens we were excited, scared, and confused, asking ourselves “how did we let this happen”. However as the days and months went on, the excitement and happiness conquered our feelings of fear and doubt leaving us feeling overjoyed to meet our little baby.
We had a great confidence in our pregnancy because our doctor raved about our baby every appointment, calling her the “text book baby” due to her growth and developmental success. Everything was going so perfectly, or so we thought.
At 9 months we had gone past our due date, we were at our doctors appointment to schedule me to be induced, however fate had other plans for our angel. That day the doctor couldn’t find a heart beat. After trying and trying they had no option but to declare our baby girl was no longer with us anymore.
We miss our baby girl so much, and she has a family that loves her endlessly. Me and my partner want to have a Bench dedicated to our Baby Natalie June Naffaa, so her loving family can have a place to go and think or even just have a seat. a place anyone can use and hopefully find peace and tranquillity. A bench with her name on it doesn’t take any pain away, but it’s a way for us to keep her memory alive forever, and for others to know her as well.
The bench will be at the scout island nature centre in Williams lake if anyone would like to visit the bench, for anyone interested I’ll make a post when Natalie’s bench is complete ❤️
