Crews battle house fire in Attleboro
My sister Natalie, her boyfriend Josh, and their baby boy Jonathan moved into their very first home about a month ago. Devastatingly, last night an unexpected fire started in the breezeway, damaging the house to the point of being uninhabitable and leaving them without a home for who knows how long.
Although, they are still looking into how much of the house is damaged, we know they will need a new roof, attic, and kitchen so far.
They had to leave their necessities behind as it all was contaminated. No diapers, no formula, no crib, nothing. What was supposed to be a very exciting adventure for my sister's new family, sadly turned into a severe setback that could make some people feel defeated...
But, I will not let that happen. There's a silver lining in every situation (new roof ONE day - woot woot).
I know we all aren't rolling in dough here so all I ask is that you help in any way you can: a heartfelt message to brighten her spirits, any hand-me-downs for her little boy, or (if you can) money to keep them going as they wait through the torturous process of insurance.
