Natalie Elizabeth Jimenez Hernandez

Hi, our names are Daniel and Maria, and it pains us to say that the purpose of this fundraiser is to fund the funeral of our 1 yr old daughter, Natalie Elizabeth Jimenez. She was a bright, happy and smart little girl. Although she was just beginning her journey on earth we could all see that she was going to be a very happy and loving baby. Her laugh lit up the room and her sense of humor put a smile on anyones face. She was loved by every single person that met her and touched many hearts with her story.

Unfortunately, on February 22, 2024 she was admitted to Atrium Levine Children's Hospital with covid. Natalie was then later diagnosed with tuberculosis meningitis, which affected her brain and spinal cord. She fought for her life up until the very last second. Little did we know exactly one month later our lives would change forever. On March 22, 2024 at 12:45 pm she was pronounced dead. Only 6 days after her 1st birthday. It has been such a hard reality for our entire family to accept. It has been a month of many sleepless nights. We have both taken turns staying by Natalie's side and never leaving her side. As the father I have had to call off work for the past month to tend to her and her other siblings, unfortunately, leaving us in a financial struggle. We have been investigating the costs of her funeral and after all the costs we will not be able to afford the funeral our beautiful angel deserves.
