Natalie El-Eid’s Wolcott, CT home caught fire January 7, 2019 and was completely destroyed. Fortunately Natalie, her mother, and her two cats made it out safely. As of now there is no determination as to what caused the fire.
Natalie is in her first year as a PhD graduate student in the Department of English at Syracuse University and because of the fire and the loss of all of her possessions it’s not certain she’ll be able to begin her second semester. We are sending her and her family our emotional support. Many of her colleagues, family and friends have reached out and asked how they can help, so we are raising funds to provide essential short term financial assistance in this very difficult time.
Anything helps as they try to re-build their lives and Natalie struggles to continue her education.
Thank you all so much!!
