Dear friends,

We are raising funds to help a beautiful artist, ballet dancer, teacher and friend who has become collateral damage in Putin's war on Ukraine. For 12 years Natalia has been living in the United States and waiting for her green card. Meanwhile, she danced, taught and instilled many children with love for ballet, music and grace. She finally got an appointment for her green card in Warsaw, Poland for February 2022. However, she was not allowed to board the plane in JFK, as Poland, due to hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, forbade those with Russian passports on their soil. Natalia's situation was unique, but the airline officials were unmoved in their bureaucratic zeal. Three times she tried and three times she failed. Natalia suffered a nervous breakdown as a result, and was unable to work or teach for many months. She has recovered now, but she needs to start her life over. We are looking to raise funds to help her with rent, immigration lawyer and miscellaneous expenses for a few months until she is back on her feet and is making money. Please give what you can.
