Nasia's Vanderbilt Adventure

Hello all. A wonderful thing has happened to our family, but it has come with a challenge we were not yet prepared for. Our daughter, Nasia, has been in gifted classes most of her elementary and middle school career. She is a self starter and holds herself to very high academic and personal standards. Her academic history is highly praised by her teachers. Now that she's in junior high, her success continues to soar. Nasia is currently taking honors classes Algebra I and French I.  She is also a member of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Vanderbilt college's program for talented youths where she attends classes such as Genetic Epidemiology. She has been accepted to Franklin High School's pre-International Baccalaureate program. What an awesome accomplishment for a 13 year old! Her career goal is to become a Pediatrician.

Our challenge is this. She has been accepted to attend Vanderbilt's

summer academy through the talented youth program for gifted individuals that she is a part of. The fee for the summer program is $2,700 ,due by April 21st,   which covers  room and boarding, classes and all meals. She will stay on camus for 2 weeks. She will have the opportunity to study





Neuroscience of Brain Dysfunction.   Please join us and consider supporting Nasia in her career aspirations.
