Nashoba Robotics heads to The 2026 FRC World Championship

We are Nashoba Robotics, Team 1768, of Nashoba Regional High School, a highly motivated group of high school students and mentors competing in the worldwide FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Each year, we design, build, and program a sophisticated machine and compete against hundreds of teams in FRC’s New England District.

2026 Season Highlights
Nashoba Robotics has been a dominant force throughout the REBUILT season, consistently demonstrating engineering excellence and strategic play:
  • Season Ranking: Nashoba Robotics enter the World Championship as the #1 ranked team in the entire New England District.
  • District Championship Winner: Ranked #1 in the Burns Division and emerged as the overall New England District Champions.
  • Quadruple Blue Banners: In addition to the Championship, they were Winners of both the URI District and the WPI District events earlier this season.
  • Quality, Innovation, and Engineering: The team earned the Innovation in Control Award twice (URI and WPI) and the Excellence in Engineering Award at the Minuteman Event, highlighting the sophisticated modular systems designed for this year’s challenge. In addition, they earned the Quality Award at the New England District Championship.

Your contributions directly help the team overcome the significant financial hurdles of international competition. Here are three ways your donation makes an impact:
  • Travel & Lodging: Offsets the high costs of flights and hotels for students and mentors during the four-day event.
  • Registration Fees: Covers the $5,000 entry fee required for the team to compete on the world stage in Houston.
  • Robot Logistics: Funds the secure transport of the robot, heavy-duty tools, and pit equipment from Massachusetts to Texas.

Program Goals
Our goal is to enable dedicated students to grow into America’s future science, engineering, and technology leaders. We provide an amazing real-world experience that students cannot hope to get in a classroom. For many students, the FIRST experience is life-changing. Nashoba Robotics prepares kids technically, learning Computer-Aided Design (CAD), mechanism design, control programming design, sensor integration, prototyping, metal fabrication techniques, and much more. We prepare them with real project management skills as well as prepare them to be good teammates and strong leaders by immersing them in a culture of hard work and dedication and to compete intensely but with gracious professionalism. Nearly every one of our students goes on to college to major in engineering or computer science. You can see the robot in action at the team's website located here.

Thanks in advance for supporting their fundraising efforts. Go Nashoba Robotics!
