Nash Pradhan- long time Norfolk resident, brilliant organic horticulturalist, beloved and extremely active community member, (but most importantly a dear father, father in law and doting Grandfather) had a serious fall on Wednesday 11/19. He was in his barn at his nursery where he fell from his ladder, 15 feet up, and landed on the concrete floor.

He was rushed to the hospital and was immediately admitted to the ICU. He’s suffered a traumatic brain injury with multiple brain bleeds, a skull fracture and a lower spine fracture.

He is still in the hospital, but thankfully was released from ICU after scans showed that his brain bleeds had stopped and his vitals were stable.

We are raising funds for Nash to help pay for any medical bills incurred at the ICU/hospital not covered by insurance and for his care going forward. Nash will be discharged to a highly specialized TBI in-patient rehab. There, he will need acute care including hours of pt/ot and speech therapies a day. Eventually (and hopefully!) he will gain independence and potentially need adaptive equipment and modifications to living arrangements.

With the very long road ahead we are hoping to lessen the burden for Nash on the financial side.
