Jaxon's AKC Registered Name - Country Air's Blue Eye Jaxon Bair
5.5 year old Australian Shepherd
Back in September & October, I started bringing Jaxon to the vet for what appeared to be "allergy symptoms." Excessive sneezing, mass amount of clear snotty discharge. They tried him on many antibiotics until November came around and nothing was working. I took him back in because a bump started to grow on his nose.
They told me to discontinue the antibiotics and that the bump looked like a tumor after giving him an examination. They referred me to Maine Veterinary Medical Center.
On 12/13/22 we visited Maine Veterinary Medical Center, and they gave Jaxon a diagnosis of Progressive Dorsal Nasal Mass. After consulting with an Oncologist and a Radiologist after they did a cat scan, an aspiration of his nose, and another sample they decided the mass will need to be removed to do a full biopsy and where the bone is damaged from this mass that is also located in his nasal cavity that bone will also have to be repaired
Jaxon's Mass Removal w/Biopsy is scheduled on 1/10/2023 with Surgeon Dr. Rubin
