Der Traum vom Weltraum: Bad Kreuznach auf dem Weg zum NASA-Wettbewerb*

In diesem Jahr erhielt das Akademische Bildungszentrum Bad Kreuznach-Mainz e.V. eine erfreuliche Zusage von der NASA für ihre Projekte. Ein 20-köpfiges Team, größtenteils bestehend aus Einwanderern, bereitete sich intensiv auf den NASA-Erfindungswettbewerb vor, um unsere Region und Deutschland zu repräsentieren. Unter der Führung des Mentors Dr. Yunis Karaca, der bereits 2010 den ersten Platz in diesem Wettbewerb gewonnen hat, entwickelten sie zwei Innovationen namens "Smash" und "Jet".

Dr. Karaca, ein ehemals erfolgreicher Unternehmer und Erfinder in der Türkei,wegen Political Grund mit seiner Familie nach Deutschland zu fliehen. In Deutschland setzte er sein Engagement für die Förderung von Wissenschaft und Technologie fort, indem er sich ehrenamtlich u.a. in Schulen engagiert.

Trotz des Engagements dieser klugen Schüler und Lehrer besteht eine Herausforderung darin, die Reisekosten für die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb zu decken. Die Gesamtkosten belaufen sich auf 48.000 Euro, was für viele der beteiligten Familien, die sich im Integrationsprozess befinden, unerreichbar ist.

Dr. Karaca appelliert an potenzielle Sponsoren, um diesen talentierten Jugendlichen die Teilnahme an diesem internationalen Wettbewerb zu ermöglichen. Die Reise findet vom 1. bis 9. Dezember statt, jedoch steht die Teilnahme aufgrund finanzieller Hürden für diese vielversprechenden Schüler derzeit auf der Kippe.

In einem Appell an die Öffentlichkeit und potenzielle Unterstützer erklärt Dr. Karaca die Situation und hofft auf finanzielle Hilfe, um den Traum dieser jungen Forscher zu verwirklichen. Der Teamname, "Germany NBA", steht für die Teilnahme an der NASA JPL Invention Challenge.

English;*The dream of space: Bad Kreuznach on the way to the NASA competition*

 This year, the Academic Education Center Bad Kreuznach-Mainz e.V. received a positive endorsement from NASA for its projects.  A team of 20, mostly made up of immigrants, prepared intensively for the NASA invention competition to represent our region and Germany.  Under the leadership of mentor Dr.  Yunis Karaca, who already won first place in this competition in 2010, they developed two innovations called "Smash" and "Jet".

 Dr.  Karaca, a formerly successful entrepreneur and inventor in Turkey, fled to Germany with his family for political reasons.  In Germany, he continued his commitment to promoting science and technology by volunteering in schools, among other things.

 Despite the dedication of these bright students and teachers, a challenge remains covering the travel expenses to participate in the competition.  The total cost is 48,000 euros, which is out of reach for many of the families involved who are in the integration process.

 Dr.  Karaca appeals to potential sponsors to enable these talented young people to take part in this international competition.  The trip will take place from December 1st to 9th, but participation is currently on hold due to financial hurdles for these promising students.

 In an appeal to the public and potential supporters, Dr.  Karaca the situation and hopes for financial help to make the dream of these young researchers come true.  The team name, "Germany NBA", stands for participation in the NASA JPL Invention Challenge.

Uzayın Rüyası: Bad Kreuznach'ın NASA Yarışına Doğru*

Bu yıl, Akademik Eğitim Merkezi Bad Kreuznach-Mainz e.V., projeleri için NASA'dan olumlu bir değerlendirme aldı. Mentor Dr. Yunis Karaca liderliğindeki 20 kişilik bir ekip, çoğunluğunu göçmenlerin oluşturduğu, bölgemizi ve Almanya'yı temsil etmek için NASA icat yarışına yoğun bir şekilde hazırlandı. Dr. Karaca, bu yarışmada 2010 yılında birinci olan bir mentordur ve ekibi "Smash" ve "Jet" adlı iki yenilik geliştirdi.

Daha önce Türkiye'de başarılı bir girişimci ve mucit olan Dr. Karaca, siyasi nedenlerle ailesiyle birlikte Almanya'ya hicret etti. Almanya'da, bilim ve teknolojiyi teşvik etme taahhüdünü sürdürerek, okullarda gönüllü olarak çalıştı.

Bu parlak öğrenci ve öğretmenlerin özverili çabalarına rağmen, yarışmaya katılmak için seyahat masraflarını karşılama zorluğu devam ediyor. Toplam maliyet 48,000 avro ve bu entegrasyon sürecinde olan aileler için ulaşılamaz bir miktar.

Dr. Karaca, potansiyel destekçilere, bu yetenekli gençlerin bu uluslararası yarışmada yer alabilmeleri için maddi katkıda bulunmaları için çağrıda bulunuyor. Yolculuk 1-9 Aralık tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek, ancak bu umut vaat eden öğrenciler için finansal engeller nedeniyle katılım şu anda beklemektedir.

Dr. Karaca, kamuoyuna ve potansiyel destekçilere bir çağrı yaparak, bu genç araştırmacıların hayalini gerçekleştirebilmeleri için maddi yardım umut ediyor. "Germany NBA" takım adı, NASA JPL İcat Yarışına katılımı simgeliyor.
