Hello friends & family,
I am excited to share with you guys that I will be going to Kenya with Blessed International from July 8– 24. I will need to raise a total of $3,100 for this trip. If you would like to partner with me in any way please read ahead. Thank you!
*In Kenya, we will be partnering with our east Africa director Pastor Gideon Mudenyo and his team. As a team, we will be encouraging and equipping the local churches to support the ministry through preaching, prayer ministry, and door to door evangelism.
*According to UNICEF, there are approximately 3 million orphans. In 2016, Pastor Gideon’s church adopted 200 orphans and they have been living in an older home that has been donated by a local elderly man. Our team will be helping with the construction of their new home, the orphanage. As a team, we will not only be working on the building but also spending time with the children who are living on the site. John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you”. My heart is for children and this opportunity is truly a blessing to me. There is so much excitement in my heart as I can’t wait to spend time with these children, love on them, and share God’s love with them. My prayer is that through this opportunity, these children will know that they are God’s children and that they are known and loved.
For those who may not know, I went to Ghana, Africa, for the 1st time in 2014. I fell in love with the nation as God used and humbled me to love His people and be loved by them. Ever since then, my heart has always desired to see God move, make His name known, and bring revival to Africa. I got to talk to Pastor Gideon in April 2019 in Ghana at the Leadership Conference and after hearing his heart for God’s people in Kenya, the desire to go to Kenya and partner with God and Pastor Gideon to see those prayers be answered grew. I thank God for this opportunity and how it all happened so quickly.
As I mentioned above, I will need to raise $3,100 in order to go. However, I pray that I can raise more to sow into the local churches and orphanage. If you would like to support through prayer or a donation, please let me know. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me :)
