Nardin's YWAM Discipleship Training School in Kona- Hawaii

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, I’ve recently been through a challenging season where many of my plans were unexpectedly turned upside down. During that time, I felt a deep sense of frustration and confusion, questioning why I was facing such difficulties. However, through prayer and reflection, especially studying the book of Job in the Bible, I came to understand that God can bring good out of every difficult situation. I realized that the detours in my plans were part of God's bigger purpose for me, and this revelation brought about a powerful transformation in my life.

As someone passionate about reaching young people, I believe God is calling me, as a youth myself, to bring others closer to Him. However, I felt a need for more training and an opportunity to grow in this calling.

As a result I have applied to a 6-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) called Fire and Fragrance; Least Reached with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii. This is an incredible opportunity where I will spend 3 months on campus for the training phase, followed by 2 months on a mission trip abroad for the outreach phase.

During the training phase, I’ll be learning how to hear God's voice more clearly, how to preach the gospel, and how to worship and intercede in prayer. This time will also include discovering and using the gifts God has given me, and putting into practice principles of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation. The program will involve daily classes focusing on biblical study, prayer, group worship, and practical workshops to equip me for the next phase of outreach.

For the outreach phase, I will be travelling to another country , to meet real needs, and show people the love and power of the gospel. This hands-on mission work will involve sharing the Bible, serving local communities, and helping others come to know Jesus. I’m especially excited to learn from other cultures, spread the message of hope, and demonstrate God’s love through practical acts of service.
