In the early morning hours of July 7, 2019, the  building housing the beloved Baton Rouge gym called NardFit, and a few other locally owned businesses, suddenly erupted into flames. 

NardFit, owned by young entrepreneur, Renard Thomas, has been not only a place where one could workout and reach incredible fitness goals, but also a place where many have found a family. Founded in 2015, Nardfit has become one of the most popular and fastest-growing locally owned gyms in Baton Rouge, if not, Louisiana. With his unique training,  strong social media presence, upbeat work-out environment, and welcoming personality, Renard has been able to attract clients from all kinds of demographics and walks of life. The city of Baton Rouge has supported him so much and in return, he is constantly giving back through charity and community events. 

Although the flames just missed the main work-out space, the gym has still suffered from extreme smoke damage and has since been deemed by the fire department as  "non-functional." Electricity, some equipment, as well as the many electronics used to serve the gym, have been completely lost. Due to the fact that it is no longer safe to occupy that space, a new one has to be found. 

We would absolutely love to make the transition into a new space as smooth and as quickly as possible, for there are so many goals that need to be made and life-changing journeys that are still in progress.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, we are #NardFitStrong and will come back harder than ever! This is only a minor setback for a major comeback!
