As we all know that Nepal suffered devastating Earthquake on 25th April, 2015, it has taken many lives, and properties. We are aware that the entire country is suffereing with deaths, destructions, lack of first aid, water and food. Although many International agencies are helping out Nepal by providing food, tents, and medicines but sadly so far it's been limited in the Kathmandu area, Nepal's capital city because our village lies in a very remote areas of Himalayas. There are no roads, electricity and heath post. According to news agencies and reports from the government of Nepal, Sindhupalchwok district remains the second most devastated area after Kathmandu.

After four days, we have not been able to communicate with anyone from the village. We have heard from the victims who were air lifted to the city two days later. As they were saying, 95% of houses collapsed and so far there have been numerous deaths and many villagers with severe injury. All the crops and foods have been buried and they have no food, clothes and roof over their heads. 

Nearest road from the village are in this situation.


lthough the Nepali Government have tried their best evacuating the victims and distributing basic needs such as food, and medicines in the remote areas, our village is still out of reach. One of the victims told us as we were talking on the phone that helicopters were only lifting  victims  as only couple of helicopters were deployed in Sindhupalchowk area where the second major earthquake happened with the 6.9 epicentre in Kodari. Our village was devastated after the second major earthquake because we are only couple kilometers away from Kodari.





Right now, we are trying to help our village and near by small communities who doesn't know anything what's happening. We are trying to reach to the poorest of poors, disables, elders, and childrens from Naranthan village and neighbouring communities.

We know that it's impossible to deliver all of the basic needs because of lack of transportation but our plan is that, when the roads are accesible, we will have the funds ready and we will try to meet their basic needs as soon as possible. We have requested few villagers ( volunteers) who were in Kathmandu to form a committee to utilize the funds we receive. We assure you that every pennnies we receive will be used in the most affective way and we will let you know where your donations were used. Survivor from Fulpingkatti, Naranthan Village  with broken hip and right leg who was airlifted to Kathmandu, 2 days later after the Earthquake
