Napoleon Arias and Edwin Napoleon Arias

At the end of July my uncle and aunt were both admitted to the hospital for COVID. My aunt was released but my uncle, Napoleon Arias, remains in the hospital after being misdiagnosed with just a sinus infection. After being admitted his only option was to be put on a ventilator in hopes it would improve his breathing. Just as we thought he was getting better he had some other medical issues surface and he was rushed into surgery. Since then he has been transferred to 2 other hospitals but unfortunately, his condition is worsening. We are so heart broken and all we can do now is pray that by God’s grace he has a turn for the best and we can have him back to his healthy, happy, life loving self. While my uncle has been in the hospital for almost 3 months, his son (which many of you know) Edwin Napoleon Arias suffered a major heart attack and had to be revived 5 times! We are so blessed that he is with us today, but his recovery will not be easy. He has a long road ahead of him and returning to work for a while will be challenging to say the least.

First my ask is that you pray with us, to heal the Arias family. It hasn’t been easy for my Aunt and her family as the last few years have been full of health challenges with my aunt surviving breast cancer and being in remission for the last few years. And now this…a husband that is fighting for his life and her son that has lifelong health challenges ahead. I can only imagine the financial burden they will and are facing with my uncle being the bread winner of the household and not being able to work any longer.
