It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the untimely demise of Kiran Babu Prasai, a young Nepali man who touched the lives of many. Originally from the Jhapa district, Kiran had been living temporarily in Canada for the past few years. His unexpected departure on April 25, 2025, at his home in Toronto has left us all in deep sorrow.

During this heartbreaking time, we are seeking support to help cover the costs of Kiran’s final arrangements. With the request and permission from the family, we’ve set up a GoFundMe campaign in Kiran’s name with a goal of raising $10,000. Any remaining funds after the funeral will be given to his elderly mother, who has lost her only son.

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, but we kindly ask you to consider contributing however you can. Your support will make a meaningful difference as we come together to honour Kiran’s memory and pray for his soul to find peace.

झापा जिल्ला स्थाई घर भई बिगत केही वर्ष देखि क्यानडामा अस्थाई बासिन्दाको रुपमा बसोबास गर्दै आउनु भएका नेपाली युवक किरण बाबु प्रसाईंको गत हप्ता मिति २०२५ अप्रिल २५ का दिन आफ्नै निवास टोरन्टोमा भएको असामयिक निधनले हामी सबैलाई स्तब्ध तुल्याएको छ।

अन्तिम मृत्यु संस्कार क्यानडामै गर्नु पर्ने भएको र त्यसका लागि चाहिने अर्थ संकलनको लागी परिवारको अनुरोध र अनुमति अनुसार स्वर्गीय किरण बाबु प्रसाईंको नाममा क्यानेडियन डलर १०,००० सिमा राखी गो फन्ड मी स्थापना गरेका छौ।

स्वर्गीय किरण प्रसाईको आत्माको चिरशान्तीको कामना गर्दै यस दु:खद घडीमा सक्दो आर्थिक सहयोग गरी साथ दिनु हुन सबैमा हार्दिक अपिल गर्दछौ।
