Hello, my name is Lakeisha Hardy, and I am the Executive Director and Founder of The Brown Place Group Home Inc. We are on a mission to help children in foster care. Here they will learn about Life Skills, Financial Literacy, emotional, mental, and physical health on a foundation of Biblical Principles. We will give them a permanent residency and give them the love, nourishment, and the teaching they need to be successful. You may wonder, "Why did I decide to be a part of such a life-changing movement ?" It is because I once was that child in the Fostercare system. I was introduced to things that changed my life forever. I have overcome them by the Grace of God. I am now married with children. Watching my children learn, grow, and thrive. I believe that just like I got a chance to choose differently. I want to give them that same chance. Every child deserves love and a chance to live. I encourage you to be the answer to many children's prayers. They need us! They need you!!!
