Hi my name is Naomi and I am looking to raise funds to pay for my DTS at YWAM Brisbane.

A DTS (discipleship training school) is a 6 months experience to cultivate a living relationship with God, discover your part in his big picture and empower you to make him known wherever you are.

The specific DTS that I am doing is called a MAD DTS (music, art and dance) and is similar to a DTS except you learn how to use your artistic gifting to worship Jesus and draw people to him.

Throughout the 6 months I will be taking part in the training phase (4 months) in the YWAM Brisbane base and the outreach phase (2 months) which can take place over a variety of different countries. The training phase lasts 11-12 weeks and encompasses lectures and teachings by trusted leaders in order to understand who God is, how to hear his voice and live out an intimate relationship with him. The outreach phase then lasts 8-12 weeks in which specially organised teams are sent out for evangelism in cross-cultural situations. The emphasis is on the application of the principles taught in the DTS lecture phase coupled with teaching on evangelism concepts and practices equipping students to share their faith using a variety of means. Previous locations of the outreach phase in YWAM Brisbane are Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.

These funds will cover the cost of the course, accommodation, food and the outreach mission trip.
