Hello, my name is Lindsey Gallant. I am starting this page on behalf of my best friend Anyssa Gagnon and her loving partner Connor Duffy. Their sweet baby girl Naomie was born on Oct. 21st, 2022 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Prince Edward Island. A few short months later, on Jan 14th, 2023 they took her to the hospital for what they thought was the flu. In a matter of hours, she was rushed to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the IWK in Halifax.

Upon arrival, the doctors informed the couple that the chances of their little girl's survival were slim to none. As of now, due to the help of the amazing staff and technology at the IWK and Naomies will to survive she is in a moderately stable but critical condition. Day by day she continues to surprise the doctors and defy the odds with her test results but there is yet to be a conclusion of what caused such substantial organ failure. The doctors have said the road to recovery will take weeks, even months.

There truly is no end in sight for this young family, with much resistance they have granted me permission to start this page.

The couple understands this is a financially tough time for many, but every dollar counts.

They would like to thank the incredible staff at the QEH and the IWK for all of their continued support.

This money will help Anyssa and Connor avoid the stress of financial strain and focus on their main priority, the health of baby Naomie.
