As many of you have seen, the GoFundMe we created for our beautiful Naomie has now exceeded its goal.

After many emotional conversations, Naomie has asked me to close the fundraiser. She is completely overwhelmed by the love, generosity and support she has received and wants everyone to know that, thanks to all of you, she will be okay.

On behalf of Naomie and her three beautiful children, I want to say the biggest and most heartfelt thank you.

To every single person who donated, shared the fundraiser, liked a post, commented, reached out with a message or phone call, sent flowers, meals or gifts, prayed for her, or simply kept her in your thoughts—thank you. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, has reminded Naomie that she is surrounded by an incredible community who genuinely cares.

The financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis is something no one should have to face alone. Because of your generosity, Naomie can now focus on what truly matters—continuing chemotherapy, preparing for surgery, healing, and spending precious time with her three children, without the overwhelming stress of wondering how she was going to make ends meet.

There simply aren't enough words to express how grateful we are. Watching complete strangers stand beside someone they've never even met has restored so much faith in humanity. The love shown to Naomie has been nothing short of extraordinary.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for wrapping your arms around our beautiful friend during the hardest time of her life. This kindness will never be forgotten.

Please continue to keep Naomie in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her fight. She still has a long road ahead, but thanks to all of you, she doesn't have to walk it alone.

Firstly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has donated, shared, sent kind messages, and supported Naomie and her beautiful children. Your generosity has been truly overwhelming, and we are so incredibly grateful.

We also wanted to let everyone know that Naomie has now spoken with the people closest to her mum and asked them not to mention anything, so we no longer need to keep this fundraiser as quiet as we initially did.

Share it on your social media, send it to your family and friends, your workplace, local businesses, sporting clubs, community groups—anywhere and everywhere. Every share gives someone else the opportunity to help ease the financial burden while Naomie focuses on the biggest fight of her life.

If you know Naomie, you'll know she's probably going to be a little horrified that we've done this... but those who know her also know she'd never ask for help herself.

Naomie is one of the most selfless people you'll ever meet. She is the first person to show up when someone is struggling, the first to offer a helping hand, and the kind of person who would quite literally give you her last dollar if you needed it. She has spent her life putting everyone else first.

Now it's our turn to put her first.

Naomie is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy after being diagnosed with colon cancer. Once chemotherapy is complete, she will undergo major surgery to remove a large tumour, followed by months of recovery. It is going to be a long and incredibly challenging journey.

She is also a devoted single mum to three beautiful children who she raises full-time. Before her diagnosis, she worked full-time to provide for her family, but chemotherapy has forced her to stop working for at least three months, with even more time needed to recover after surgery.

Sadly, she has exhausted all of her annual and sick leave and is now relying on the last of her savings just to keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, and the bills paid. The financial pressure is becoming overwhelming at a time when her only focus should be fighting cancer.

As many of you know, Naomie is an incredibly private person. She has no idea we're doing this, and she would never ask for help herself. She also wishes to keep her diagnosis off social media, as her mum is dealing with her own health challenges, and Naomie wants to protect her from the additional worry until the time is right.

For that reason, we have one very important request.

Instead, if you are able, please send the link privately to your family, friends, work colleagues, businesses, or anyone you think may be able to help. We want to respect Naomie's wishes while still giving those who love and care about her the opportunity to support her during the toughest battle of her life.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping Naomie and her children with everyday living expenses while she undergoes chemotherapy, surgery, and recovery. If you're unable to donate, privately sharing this fundraiser with someone who may be able to is just as appreciated.

Cancer has already taken enough from Naomie. Let's make sure it doesn't take away her peace of mind as well.
