Naomi and Warren, who you may know as the beloved LA-based food vendors Perhaps Japanese , need community support!

Naomi and Warren came to the U.S. from Singapore in 2015 legally. Because it took 10 years before any hearings, this meant that our current administration (boo, hiss!) was in office and looking to speeding up immigration processes...suddenly putting Naomi and Warren at risk of deportation as soon as May 2026.

If deported to Singapore, their livelihoods, safety, and physical & mental well-being are at risk. We cannot let this happen to our community members!!!!

Naomi will make you something special! Busy working your booth at an event? Warren will find you & bring you a plate! Hungry but can't afford a meal right now? Don't worry, Perhaps Japanese will cover you.

THE ASK: $12,000 is the full amount needed to retain a confident and well-versed lawyer. $3,000 is needed for a deposit in approximately two weeks. Their previous representation failed them after a significant amount of money paid and now have 2 months remaining to complete all required paperwork. This new lawyer feels confident that Naomi and Warren will not be deported with his representation and has successfully represented cases with a similar background.
