In Loving Memory of Naomi McQuagge Meadowcroft

Donation protected
My name is Nicole and I am a long-time friend of the McQuagge family. As Naomi was so young, her passing was a tragedy that the family was not prepared for. I humbly ask that you consider donating to her end-of-life expenses to help ease their burden. Any money left will go to her children Charlie, Alex, and Nalani, who is a high school senior this year. I will update here with the arrangements when those have been announced. Let's wrap this family in love during this terrible time. Thank you so much for any help you can provide, even if it's only your prayers.

Naomi Lynn Meadowcroft left us suddenly on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, when she passed of natural causes at her home. Her passing has left family and friends heartbroken, but grateful that her soul is at peace. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. At the service to celebrate her life, we ask that you wear the color red for her, like her ever present lipstick.

Naomi was born on January 27, 1973, to Chester (deceased) and Terecita McQuagge in Troy, Alabama. She attended Charles Henderson High School before graduating from The American School in 1991. She later attended Troy University and earned a degree in criminal justice.

Naomi is survived by her children - Charles and Alexander Taylor (father, Jeffery Taylor), and Nalani Meadowcroft (father, Joshua Meadowcroft); her mother, Terecita McQuagge; her brother, Damen McQuagge (Hali); and her sister, Emily Zapata. She also leaves nieces - Meghan McQuagge Huggins (great nephew, Cash Huggins) and Katelyn Zapata, and nephews – Brandon McQuagge, Keldon Singleton, and Weston Adams, as well as many other family members and friends, who loved her dearly.

Naomi lived life as a perpetual learner. Many of you may have known her as a an inquisitive and highly intelligent young woman. Brain tumors robbed her of her focus and many memories but she fought valiantly and achieved so much after that experience.

Her capacity to love was not eradicated by life’s harsh experiences and she continued to love her children and those close to her with all her heart. Her beautiful spirit will remain with all of the people whose lives she touched. We ask in lieu of flowers that you please donate to the fund being set up for her children’s future.
