Naomi Endara’s Medical Expenses
Donation protected
We are friends of Andy and Shanna Endara, raising money for medical expenses not covered by insurance on behalf of their newborn daughter, Naomi.
Naomi was born in June of 2022, and she was diagnosed with with Hydrops and Congenital Chylothorax. (Chylothorax complicated by hydrops fetalis in a premature or term infant is an uncommon, serious clinical problem. It refers to collection of lymphatic fluid in the pleural space secondary to leakage from the thoracic duct or one of its main tributaries.) She spent her first 21 days in the NICU, recently had an emergency stay at the hospital due to acute breathing complications, and continues to require specialized care with a team of doctors and pulmonologists.
While sweet Naomi is happy to be at home, her health is precarious, her road to her recovery is complex, and she requires continued specialized care. Insurance has thus far denied the claim for a life saving RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) injection to enable Naomi’s immune system to combat this dangerous respiratory virus.
Please consider donating to the Endara family for urgent and critical medical expenses such as a specialized formula, physical therapy, and a monthly RSV injection (especially important to protect her lungs).
Andy and Shanna’s introduction to parenthood has not been an easy road, yet their deep love for Naomi fuels their resolve to strive to give Naomi the essential medical care necessary to allow her to properly develop and to grow as a healthy child.
The Endara’s are thankful for the community of people praying for their Naomi, and they are grateful for each and every contribution.
