Naomi’s road to recovery

Hi family and friends, my name is Leslie Arellano. On Wednesday, November 8th, our lives were turned upside down when my daughter Naomi was involved in a double impact car accident, leaving her with internal injuries, fractures, cuts and abrasions, and a totaled car. She had emergency surgery to repair a tear in her small intestine from the impact, has a fractured foot, fractured hand, and a level 2 ligament separation between her collarbone and shoulder. Our hearts are broken. While we are very fortunate to have health insurance, we are raising funds for any additional medical bills that won’t be covered and are anticipating unexpected costs to come up along the way. I don’t know if I’m going to need to work reduced hours in the first few weeks or months that she’s home or hire additional help, we just aren’t certain of what the immediate future looks like for our family. Any funds that are raised will be used exclusively to help get Naomi on her path to recovery. Thank you, and I will update soon. -L
