I’m doing it again... Swimming to Support Tom and Noreen Rymal ❤
The past 9 1/2 years have been such a very long, life-challenging journey for my brother-in-law, Tom, and his wife/my sister, Noreen.
Tom suffered a massive Brain Stem Stroke at the young age of 51. He is severely compromised & medically fragile with continued, worsening complications. Since his stroke, he was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. EVERY SINGLE DAY Tom's most basic daily life activities are a monumental effort, and Noreen is his 24/7 Full-Time Caregiver.
Their lives will NEVER be the same. Tom's catastrophic health traumas have been devastating and have also caused a tremendous financial strain on them.
Because of their unending challenges, I’m challenging myself again to do a 5K (3.1 miles) open water swim race in Avalon, NJ, on Sunday, 8/28 (at 67 years old!) and combining it with this Fundraiser to help them.
So many people suffer in silence with their tragic health issues. Tom & Noreen’s heartbreaking situation is my motivation to support them and raise awareness of good health; please join me in letting them know We All Still Care!
As I did in the past, your donations will accumulate until I’ve completed my swim for a grand total, which goes directly to them (not to an organization or foundation).
I realize this 5K swim and my fundraiser are ambitious undertakings, but my incentive is YOUR support for Tom & Noreen (and your support for me in this quest), and I’m so very grateful❤
I promise I will do my best swimming this race!
Please continue to pray for Tom, Noreen, Katie & Tommy; they are an inspiration of family love. Thank you ❤
