Dear friends, family, and community:

As many of you may already know, Joe has recently received a diagnosis of stage 3 esophageal cancer. Though his spirits remain high and physically he feels well, he faces a challenging road ahead. Treatment will start with four rounds of chemo, he will then undergo a very intensive surgery in late April-early May, followed by four additional rounds of chemo.

Joe is one of the hardest-working, most dedicated and selfless people you’ll ever meet. His kindness and generosity have touched the lives of many. He has always put others before himself, especially when it comes to his wife, daughters, and grandkids. He never stops pushing himself—whether at work or in life. He often tells his grandkids, “You can't hurt steel!” We are trying to keep this lighthearted and positive attitude throughout this tough process.

The costs of his cancer treatments, ongoing medical expenses, and the daily challenges of this fight are adding up quickly. We are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden and give Joe the best care possible as he continues to face this difficult journey. Any contribution, big or small, will make a world of difference and allow us to focus on his care instead of worrying about finances.
