Jacque’s Road to Recovery

Jacque is married to Joseph Palazzolo, and together, they have built a home in Nevada. They have 3 beautiful children; 2 daughters, 11 & 9, and a son who just turned 8 years old.

Recently Jacque began to suffer from a strange numbness in her face, vertigo, and debilitating migraine headaches. After several visits to the doctor, a series of tests, and multiple MRI's, a gulf ball sized tumor was found behind Jacque's left ear. The doctor's said it was a meningioma, and it was pressing on the facial nerves in her brain, which was causing the numbness. Because of this, her doctors want to remove the tumor as soon as possible.

Jacque will need to leave her children behind in Nevada to have surgery in Texas on May 19th, 2023. She will go on to spend 2 days in the ICU and another 1-4 days as an inpatient before she is released. Jacque will then be required to stay in close proximity of the hospital for observation for another 2 more weeks. All the while, her children await her return back home in Nevada.

Jacque is a kind, happy, and hardworking person with a spunky side and a generous heart. This attitude is reflected through her work as well. She has been a nurse since 2006 and a flight nurse since 2016. Patients are known to be put at ease by her smile, gentle touch, and caring demeanor.

As a double income family, Jacque's inability to work for almost 3 months, along with travel expenses will be a big financial burden on their family. She desperately wants Joseph by her side while she undergoes this complicated brain surgery. Unfortunately Joseph’s job offers no opportunity for paid leave, resulting in no income for their family during this period. At this time, they are asking for any amount of help, whether it be monetary donations, time given, and/or prayers said on their behalf. All will be accepted with great gratitude.
