Aloha to all my family and friends!
As you know I recieved a scholarship to St. Francis this past school year for athletics and academics. I have maintained a 3.83 GPA with honors classes. As a freshman, I was a starter for our girls varsity basketball team. My position on the court is point guard and shooting guard. I was recognized in Hawai'i with honorable mention for my hard work as well as images published in online Hawai'i sports media.
Moving forward into highschool as a Sophmore, college is becoming more of a reality for me. I understand that hard work, dedication, and most importantly heart, is what is needed to acheive my goal of obtaining a college scholarship. There are 3 college and recruiter ran basketball camps that I see are a necessity for me to attend this summer. I believe it will tremendously benefit myself in many ways as a student athlete.
I was invited to attend a scouting camp here in Oahu called Maui Sports Camp. I was very honored to recieve this. Another camp I hope to attend is Point Guard College in Sacramento, California. The final camp that I cannot wait to take part in, is the girls basketball camp at my dream college, Stanford University! All of these camps are multiple days and cover both my dorm and food expenses. I would appreciate any help possible for these expenses as well as the airfare it will cost to get me to California. I truely appreciate the support from each and every one of you! I promise that once I acheive my goal of a scholarship (which I will) I will never forget my roots or the people that supported me to get there.
