I have never in my life ask for a handout, I have always told myself up by my bootstraps. But in the last year I've broken my foot, my wrist and needed surgery, I have also had three brain surgeries for essential tremor which affects my daily life as far as eating and taking care of my personal being. I suffer from COPD and quit smoking in November but have been hospitalized twice in the last 4 months with an exacerbation. This last hospital visit is costing me 7 Days in the hospital along with a bone marrow biopsy. My husband works two jobs to pay the bills. He is now facing hernia surgery. This is so hard and embarrassing for me to do I cannot begin to tell you but I don't have any other choice we have sold her larger house and tried to downsize to save money but things just keep piling one on top of the other. I promise you that any money I can return I will and I will continue to return it as long as I M able I am unable to return to work due to the disability and therefore my ability to earn an income is limited please do not feel sorry for me I will get through this I have an amazing husband who works so hard for us. And has stood by me through all of this.
