Nanea Estrella - Wrestling towards Worlds

Aloha from Maui, Hawaii. I am Nanea Estrella a sixteen year old female athlete about to embark on a very important endeavor, but first let me tell you a bit about myself.
I am a junior at Lahainaluna High school and commute daily from Makawao to Lahaina for school, practice and community service while balancing 3.7 GPA. I enjoy helping out the up and coming kids from the Maui Style Wrestling Community, in both Upcountry and Lahaina and I tutor 4th graders in math. As a female wrestler, I have won three Hawaii State Wrestling titles and earned All-American status by placing second this past summer in the US Marine Corps Cadet Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. In the next few months I have a huge opportunity to compete in the US Open in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Women's National Championships in Texas. This tournament is a world team qualifier tournament, which would allow me, a Maui girl, a chance to become a member World Team and represent the United States, State of Hawaii and island of Maui at a World’s Competition.
While I’m capable to put in the physical and mental training to be my absolute best, my family has worked hard to provide the financial means for travel across the ocean to compete and train. At this time, I turning to my community to be a part of this. This Go Fund Me is to help with my travel expenses to get me to Las Vegas and Texas and hopefully beyond. Any little bit helps and I promise to make every dollar worth and make you all proud.
