Nanda was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 13 and has been insulin dependent ever since. She has been living a wonderful independent life and enjoying Chicago and her career as an esthetician for the past ten years but recently suffered complete kidney failure. She’s in stage 4 which means she must have a four hour dialysis treatment four times each week. Her kidney failure and subsequent dialysis means that her income has dropped—a lot!
Nanda wants to continue to live independently and work as much as she can while anxiously awaiting a kidney transplant. She needs our help to make sure her bills are covered and she can get the treatment she needs.
Nanda has always been outgoing, vivacious and the first to help anyone in need. I love her to the moon and back. I hope you have room in your heart and your checkbook to help her because she makes the world a sweeter place.
