Friends & Family,
As you may know, our dear friend, Nancy, suffered a car accident in 2017, resulting in a traumatic brain injury that changed her life. Nancy developed Parkinson's Plus Disease, and over the last few years, her motor skills and speech have seen a significant decline. As you can imagine, this disruption in her life has been agonizing for Nancy, her family, and her friends. It is no surprise that Nancy has shown fierce resiliency and has maintained high spirits through all of this, but the reality is that she has not been able to live the life she had before the accident. While these last few years have been challenging for Nancy, she has been blessed with a deeply supportive group of friends who care for her and would do anything to help her.
We have been friends with Nancy's youngest daughter, Molly, for decades. Over these years we have cultivated a very close relationship with the Marcucilli family and consider Nancy to be our "second mom". Like so many of their friends and family, we've kept asking how we can support the Marcucilli family during these difficult times. We started this GoFundMe because we feel that the best way to help is through a collective effort. Our donations will go directly to the family and be used to support Nancy in whatever way they feel is best. Whether that be for future medical expenses, as at-home care is not covered through their insurance, or a vacation somewhere she has always wanted to go. We believe this fund is an excellent way for the community to help the Marcucilli family persevere through whatever the future may bring.
Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share this GoFundMe with anyone else who may want to help.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
Katie & Olivia
