Nancy, The founder of Fur friends in Need, who has been selfless in the rescue world, always putting animals first before anything including herself always needs us now.
In this photo is how I met Nancy thru our Patriarch Shadow one of our toughest adoptions ever, the heart of so many of us and who brought us together.
Nancy was diagnosed with clear cell ovarian cancer in January 2021.....She has since had her Tumor removed, complete hysterectomy stage 1, however very rare that cancer cells were found in the fluid. This is a very aggressive cancer, her tumor however was encapsulated, so it's puzzling according to Sloan Kettering as to why there was cells in the fluid.
Nancy needs to go for 6 rounds of Chemo every 3 weeks. Nancy has exhausted all her vacation, sick time at work while undergoing her surgery and can't possibly afford to cover her expense's of her home and all her animals that she opened her home to..
Nancy has not skipped a beat going thru this entire process, I would love to raise funds for her to be able to STAY home and recover properly and NOT be going into work part time while going thru Chemo in order to cover her bills.
I am also trying desperately to raise enough funds for the cold cap which would help her not lose all her hair as this is something so many women fear, Nancy my warrior friend is more concerned for her animals then this, however I would love nothing more then to raise more then enough to cover all thats needed..
Nancy has never asked for a penny for herself always the animals. It's time for her to HEAL with a piece of mind and mend herself without the worry of making ends meet .. She needs to be the priority Now.
Please consider Donating , every dollar counts, every share matters... The thoughts of her having to work while undergoing Chemo is just beyond upsetting to me. She needs her rest & strength to recover fully .. Thank you all .. Nancy will be having her treatments at Sloan Kettering .. Prayers welcomed..
